Run-off Primary Election set for June 22nd for Rockingham County Republicans
The Rockingham County Board of Elections has scheduled a Run-off Primary election for most Republicans in the County. Candidates for the 13th District US House seat, Bill Randall of Wake Forest, NC and Bernie Reeves of Raleigh, NC will be seeking the nomination for the Republicans and the opportunity to run against Brad Miller, the Democrat candidate in the November election. No other Republicans candidates will be on the ballot.
The following schedule has been set-
Tuesday, June 22nd –(All polling places will be open. 6:30 am – 7:30 pm.)
Early voting will be open in the Governmental Center from Thursday, June 3rd to Saturday, June 19th. Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday, June 19th 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Randall Top Vote Getter-
in the May 4th Republican Primary for the 13th District US House Race
Bill Randall let in total votes over 3 other candidates in the May 4th Primary Election. Randall led by 135 votes over 2nd place Bernie Reeves. Randall received 32.5% of the votes. Reeves received 31.8%. Huffman and Hurley received 27.0% and 8.6% of the votes respectively.
Since neither Randall nor Reeves received the required 40% of the votes, they will participate in a Run-off Primary that is scheduled for June 22nd.

Randall and Reeves Square Off in Debate in Wake County on April 29th
Bill Randall and Bernie Reeves, Republican Candidates for the 13th District US House seat, held their only debate at the Wake County on April 29th. The debate was lively with both candidates stating their positions on most of the important issues. Of course, both candidates campaigns were claiming victory for their candidates.
